Marine Layer
This cocktail holds a special place in our hearts, and our community. Every time this cocktail gets ordered at Jettywave, we share a portion of the sales with Cabrillo Education Foundation which helps to provide additional support to our teachers and underfunded programs at our local schools. Drink like it matters, because it does. This riffed up Gin and Tonic does some serious good, and tastes even better!

RECIPE
1.5 oz California Botanical Gin
0.25 oz Simple Syrup
1oz Lime Juice
Shake all ingredients in a shaker, strain into a glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and add Fevertree Elderflower Tonic until the glass is full.
TIP
We add green spirulina to our simple syrup to create a natural layered effect in the glass. To build the drink, start by adding the elderflower tonic and ice to your glass. Then, slowly pour the shaken cocktail over the top. Aim for the highest ice cube or use the back of a spoon to gently layer it. Pouring slowly is key. This helps maintain the surface tension and allows the higher-proof cocktail to float above the elderflower base, creating a distinct, two-tone (Marine) layer.
